The Xotic Super Clean is a high end buffer with a convenient Gain control in a mini pedal format.
It features the legendary 4558 integrated circuit and provides multiple EQ settings with four DIP switches accessible from the outside of the pedal housing (High, High Mid, Low Mid, Low).
The Super Sweet Boost (SSB) offers a dynamic and transparent +20dB clean boost perfectly tuned for transferring the articulation of your guitar playing.
The SSB is incorporated with a high performance Class A preamp built around the famous JRC4558 chip. The boost frequency can be selected by an external DIP switch offers a very versatile tone shaping capabilities.
The Xotic “Voltage Doubler” is a step-up converter that takes 9 volts DC and boosts it to an output voltage of 15 or 18 VDC (max current draw 80mA).
Why do you need a voltage doubler? Higher voltage levels result in more headroom. When you boost the voltage your find your Xotic pedals will get much more dynamic, more headroom, top end and brightness, less compressed sound.
Both the Super Clean Buffer and Super Sweet Booster are fitted with an easy access gain knob for an added +12dB (Super Clean) and +20dB (Super Sweet).
The external dip switches are conveniently placed so you can shape your tone efficiently.
Both the Super Clean and Super Sweet come with an internal dip switch to toggle between true bypass and buffered bypass when your pedal is switched off.
