What is the return policy?
Our products are warranted against failures due to defective parts or faulty workmanship for a period of one(1) year after delivery to the original owner.

How can I receive a free catalog on Xotic products?

We currently only ship via UPS to physical addresses inside the United States, excluding P.O. Boxes.
All discrepancies in shipments must be reported to email@example.com within 48 hours of receipt of product.

Orders now ship 1-2 business days after the order is placed.
Some items may be backordered and will be displayed as such in your shopping cart. Lead time for all backordered products is approximately 2 weeks depending on stock level. Charges for backordered products will only be applied once the product has been shipped to you the customer.
We have a 48-hour money back return policy (less shipping costs).
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased from us, simply e-mail us within 48-hour of receipt to arrange the details of your return.
All returns must be in original, undamaged, new condition. All returns are subject to inspection and a 20% restocking fee. Please allow a minimum of two weeks from the time we receive your return for your refund or reshipment to arrive.
If paid by credit card, please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

Can I have Stainless Steel frets?
No. All our XSC comes with Jescar Silver Nickel wires. Same reason with the neck thickness, frets also effects the tone of the guitar and Stainless Steel frets do last longer than nickel silver but it naturally has a brighter tone, thus will effect the mids of the natural tone of the guitar.
I prefer thinner necks. Is it possible to get a XSC with think neck?
No. We believe that neck thickness greatly effect the tone of the guitar overall. The thinner the neck the mids will drop and the natural tone will not ‘cut’ through the mix.
Possible to make a duplicate neck of my existing XS?
4~5 months after the 50% deposit.
Possible to get a side jack and shaved heel?
No. The California Classic concept is to bring back the old school design from the 50’s and 60’s so we do not offer that option. Changing the neck plate and shaving the heel will affect the sound.
What order should I put my effects in?
This is never an easy answer because there is no right or wrong way to pedal placement – however there are certain well established rules of thumb. Below is what Xotic recommends this setup:
Guitar > Wah > Boost > Overdrive > Distortion > Modulation > Delay > Amplifier
Does Xotic have an artist endorsement program?
We are a small (but growing!) company and welcome artists and bands to send us inquiries. We will review the content and get in touch with you about the endorsement.
Can I use the RC Booster on Bass?
Yes – absolutely – we also make the Bass RC Booster that is designed to boost Bass specific frequencies but some players might prefer the guitar version RC Booster.
The A>B B>A switch on my BB Plus (or AC Plus) is cutting out.
Carefully remove the black cap and spray a small amount of Deoxit into the switch – put the cap back on and press on and off several times. This will lubricate and improve conductivity with the switch.
Pedal light comes on, but drops the volume considerably.
There's a chance that the terminals inside the footswitch have been oxidized. If it's not severe, you can save them by pressing the switch a couple of dozen times to clean themselves.
Also, install a fresh new battery and make sure to have good guitar cables. Test it by itself and see if it is indeed the unit causing the problem. Make sure you are not using a stereo cable.
Why does my footwitch “pop” when engaging my Xotic pedal?
True bypass switches can be inherently noisy especially when it comes to switching them on and off when used in conjunction with high gain amps. Turn on/off the pedal 6-7 times and the noise should dissipate.
What is true bypass?
True Bypass pedal is when the pedal effect is turned off, the sound of the guitar bypasses the internal circuit and connects directly to the amp. If the clean guitar signal still passes when the pedal is off, the pedal is true bypass.
Why does my bias knob sound”scratchy” on my Wah pedal?
You’ll notice that the “BIAS” knob makes a slight scratching noise when you turn it...NOT TO WORRY! Our engineers designed it that way - once adjusted it will be silent.
We recommend adjusting the settings while your wah is turned off.
Can I use two EP Boosters on my rig at the same time?
Yes – there are some folks that leave one on all the time and use another for a separate boost.
